Update: EPIC Email Capabilities

We sincerely appreciate your patience over the last few months as the team at Wiley have worked diligently to reinstate EPIC Admin emailing capabilities. As you know, these efforts help preserve the integrity of the Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors® assessment experience and ensure our shared business is not interrupted again.

EPIC custom email messages ARE BACK (with some changes)!

We’ve identified a solution that aligns with the latest security best practices and will ensure our emails are delivered to the intended recipients—not flagged as spam or caught in email screening systems.

This new solution requires a few changes to the way that EPIC Custom Email messages were previously used. These changes include:

  • 2,000-character limit on messages (if you are using previous custom email copy, make sure it doesn’t go over the limit! Watch the character counter provided in the tool.)

  • Plain text only messages

  • No images or links to third party websites

Shift to standard no-reply function

If learners reply to their assessment email, they will no longer receive an auto-reply message. To align with best practices, we have moved to a standard no-reply—meaning that if a learner replies to the assessment email, they will not receive a response.

To ensure your learners know who to contact, we are taking steps to make your company name and email address more prominent on the emails you send. If you haven’t entered that information already, you will be prompted to add your company name and email address as required fields in your EPIC Settings Report Cover Contact Information. These two lines of information will appear on all your EPIC email invitations, including report covers, ensuring your learners know how to reach you.

A full job aid to help yo unavigate the changes can be downaloded below.
