How to upgrade past learners to Catalyst (using EPIC)

Attached is a reference guide on how to upgrade existing learners to the Catalyst platform.

Past Everything DiSC® learners are eligible for a FREE Workplace on Catalyst™ upgrade. In addition, Everything DiSC® Management learners can receive the Management on Catalyst™ application at no charge. Likewise, the same is true for Everything DiSC Agile EQ learners upgrading to Agile EQ on Catalyst. When using existing Everything DiSC data to create a new Catalyst access code, the learner will not be required to take the DiSC portion of the assessment again. Their previous DiSC style scores will be used in the new report.

Now, anyone who has previously taken any of the Everything DiSC assessments can be upgraded to Catalyst for FREE until 31st December 2025.

Catalyst is for use at an organisation level, allowing members of the same company to see all of their profiles in one place and receive real-time…

Data opt-out by default now possible

Wiley can now activate a feature in Catalyst at organisational level which requires each new learner in the organisation to opt in to sharing their data with colleagues.

If you, or your learners, have any concerns about privacy and want to ensure that learners give explicit consent before entering the platform and sharing with their colleagues, this feature helps provide this visibility and consent up front.

Below is a screenshot of what the experience looks like from the learner's side.

Please note that this functionality can only be activated by Wiley. If you want to activate it please follow the steps below:

  1. Create your new 'Organisation' in EPIC, or directly in Catalyst if you have synced your admin accounts - DO NOT issue any access codes. Learn how to sync EPIC and Catalyst here.

Hiding and revealing styles in Catalyst

Some facilitators enjoy having the ability to deliver results to learners immediately after they complete their assessments. It promotes focus on the session's material and prevents people from reading through their reports while the facilitator is delivering information and instructions.

Other facilitators prefer to hold learners' style results until the training session. They may want to give some context or set expectations before giving learners their results.

Regardless of what you prefer, you can easily hide and reveal your learners' profile information within the Catalyst Administrator Experience.

The instructions below use the admin functions in Catalyst (rather than EPIC).

Setting and amending report visibility

When your account is set up the default setting is that any new report issued will be withheld from the Learner and you as the Administrator will need to generate the report and share with them. However, if you would prefer for your learners to have immediate access to their report the instant they complete the assessment then this can be set at time of issue using the steps shown below.

Please note that if you are issuing Catalyst assessment then these can only be issued with immediate visibility. It is not possible to withhold the results and activate at a later date.

Set Visibility When Issuing New Reports

When entering names and email addresses you can select visibility using the 'View Report' radio buttons as show below.

If you select 'Yes' the respondent will immediately be able to view, download and save their report when they complete the assessment.…

How do I start issuing access codes for Everything DiSC using my EPIC account?

Wiley's EPIC system enables you to fully administer and manage your own distribution of Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviours profiles in your own organisation or with your own clients. It is essentially the back-office administration system.

Profiles are purchased using EPIC credits - your own DiSC currency! Credits are a cost-effective way to buy access to all of the profiles and will help you to make the most of your budget. There are no minimum orders and credits never expire. EPIC account holders are offered an exclusive rate for reports! To order credits you can buy online or you can simply email us your order and we will issue the credits and raise an invoice.

Each type of report requires a fixed number of credits and a list of the credits required for each report is available here. As an example, the Workplace profile in English requires 15 Credits, so the…

Catalyst Administration Experience

The new functionality enabling EPIC account holders to manage all aspects of the Catalyst administration directly within Catalyst is now live!

To access the new admin experience you need to have an EPIC account and your own profile within your organisation's Catalyst platform. If you already have a Workplace, Management or Agile EQ profile you can 'upgrade' to Catalyst at no extra charge. If you don't have an existing profile then you will need to issue yourself an access code and complete the Catalyst assessment (15 EPIC credits + 10 each to include the Management or Agile EQ content).

You can find a short video tutorial to help you upgrade or issue Catalyst assessments in EPIC by visiting Help > Help Videos

Once you have your own Catalyst profile, the documents below will guide you on how to synchronise your account and access a full user guide.

How to synchronise…
